Celebrate Father’s Day Outdoors!

Let Dad know how much he means to you by creating an outdoor celebration!  Whether it’s at the beach, park or backyard, EPI has some creative ideas to inspire your décor, food, drink and more!

Beach Bum

The rule for Dad is to RELAX!  If he is a beach bum and loves the surf, sand and watersports –the shore may be the perfect theme to let him “Hang Loose”.

Be playful and lighthearted with your themed décor. Novelty items that match your theme add detail to floral displays and can be a creative focal point. Hawaiian shirts – Yes please! 

Natural elements such as coral, seashells, sand and bright colors bring the entire laid-back vibe together.  Bright tropical floral touches create such a sunny and exotic appeal without being too stuffy. or formal. Vintage Hawaiian print linens add just the perfect amount of Aloha. ever your location – the backyard or by the pool, you can bring a bit of surf, sand and fun to any location.

Father Friendly food Suggestion – Seafood topped flatbread, create a signature drink using Dad’s favorite libations.

Chic Oceanfront

Think Hamptons, boardwalk, private beach – not for the uber privileged anymore!  

Create or rent a cabana by the pool, beach or lake and chill out by the water.   White forever feels right and fresh!  Use pops of color or metallic in your décor for a clean and stylish touch.

Blue, aqua or teal, with a hint of silver mimic the water, creating a serene retreat.   Keep décor and florals minimal, elegant and tasteful. 

For an evening event, a warm orange, tangerine and yellow palate will match the sunset.  Make sure that comfort abounds by using plush pillows and soft fabrics.  Floral décor can be enhanced with natural moss, driftwood, succulents and orchids.

Draping always brings a little panache and sophistication to any party.  Sheer, or opaque – use some draping to make your space special.  Glowing light from lanterns and candles create a warm and inviting space.
